About the Chapter
The ACS East & Northeast India International Chapter is a collaboration between the American Chemical Society and the Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC), an initiative of O/o PSA, GoI, which serves as a regional platform to strengthen chemistry and biochemistry education, research, and innovation across eastern and northeastern India.
The chapter aims to foster meaningful engagement between academia, industry, startups, and policymakers. It supports skill development, leadership exchange, and inclusive entrepreneurship while connecting local scientific talent to the global ACS community. By nurturing early-career researchers, educators, and innovators, the chapter contributes to chemistry-led solutions aligned with national priorities in health, sustainability, and industrial development.
To be a leading regional platform that advances the chemical sciences by fostering excellence in education, research, innovation, and leadership across East and Northeast India, while actively contributing to the global mission of the American Chemical Society.
